In the midst of all the ongoing kerfuffle about AI it's important to remember that just as humans are not machines, machines are not human. My car can process all kinds of data and sensory input faster and more accurately than my brain can, but it can't tell me a thing about how I feel or what I'm thinking when I step on the accelerator on an open road.
